Infotech Oulu Doctoral Program - Short position application

Applications are invited for several doctoral student short positions (maximum of six (6) months) for Infotech Oulu Doctoral Program. The positions are for finishing the doctoral thesis. The application deadline is the 30th of March, 2012 at 15:00.

The applicant should have acquired at least almost all the required credit points and publications. A priority is given to such applicants who will graduate during year 2012. The doctoral thesis should be done in a research group of Infotech Oulu (full or associate member groups). The applicant could have had a research student position financed by the Ministry of Education and Culture before, but for less than four (4) years. The monthly salary is EUR 1893,67, but the research groups can pay additional salary. The time period in the position can be adjusted, but it must be during the year 2012. An essential prerequisite to the final selection of  the position is admission to the University of Oulu Graduate School  (UniOGS).

Annual study reports used by students in Infotech Doctoral Program positions http://www.infotech.oulu.fi/GraduateSchool/Students/StudyReport.html are used as application material. Also research plan (containing the items listed in http://www.infotech.oulu.fi/GraduateSchool/Students/research_plan.txt ) is needed. Please mark which results have already been achieved. Note, that there is study report form also for the supervisor.

The application including the appendices should be sent by email to kirjaamo(at)oulu.fi in pdf-format (no signatures needed). In the "subject" field of the email write "Infotech Oulu Doctoral Program Application" and your name.
