Infotech Oulu - International post-doc application

• To post-doctoral researchers from abroad for working in the full member research groups of Infotech Oulu in the University of Oulu; for funding of the salary and traveling costs. The position is for new visiting researchers to the group. The total length of the visit must be at least half a year, and the maximum support from Infotech Oulu is EUR 20 000. Additional costs must be covered by the research group. The applicant is a professor in the research group.

• To post-doctoral researchers of the full member research groups of Infotech Oulu in the University of Oulu for traveling and housing costs (excluding salary) in a world-class research group abroad. Maximum sum for housing costs from Infotech Oulu is EUR 500 / month, max 6 months. The applicant is the post-doc researcher.

The funding from Infotech Oulu must be used in 2009. Curriculum vitae and list of publications are needed from the visiting researcher in addition to basic information of the visit: (from) where, time period, and short description of the research work to be done. In addition, short description of the group abroad to be visited is needed.

The total sum allocated for this application is EUR 100 000. The applications should be sent by email to tre(at)ee.oulu.fi no later than January 31, 2009. The funding decisions will be made by the Governing Board of Infotech Oulu.
